A poem, if I may~

I painted space,
a canvas white.
Within four walls
I lived with it for months, all right.

As time passed,
I started feeling light.
The canvas saw some blue...
dreamy and bright,
shades delightful,
just blue and white.

And then I felt the rising sun;
it found a life
in the texture- slight.
Oh, golden hues,
on the nature of man and might.

It sat upon the canvas blue
to remind me I am whole, shining—
a picture of pride.
